Well it seems to be that time again, TGIF! I've got a pretty relaxing weekend ahead (finally) and I'm actually looking forward to getting lots of packing done...we officially have a closing date on the new house! December 20th folks, right before Christmas which is the best gift I could ever ask for! I can't wait until we're all settled in, but in the meantime there is still tons of stuff that needs to be done. So while I'm doing that today, allow me to introduce to you some of my favorite ladies!

Ok so lemme just tell you how much you are going to just adore Miss Nicole from Local Sugar Hawaii. Her blog documents her life as a wife and sweet mom to two adorable little boys living in absolute paradise on the north shore of O'ahu. She's fun, light-hearted, often times personal, but always authentic! So please follow along with Nicole as she shares georgous pictures of Hawaii, stories about her family and everything else in between!

Ok so I have a real sweetheart to introduce to you today! Kristina, who writes for the fabulous blog Whipped, is a girl after my own heart. Basically she's a health nut who LOVES sweets! Doesn't get much better than that, right?? Living in Chicago, she loves to try out new recipes and play around with photography. Recently she teamed up with her best friend Ashley from college, who just so happens to be a registered dietician, to help bump up the nutrition power on her sinfully delicious sweets and put a healthy spin on her blog for practical everyday health. I just know you'll love Miss Kristina as much as I do!

Miss Erika is the gorgeous wife and momma behind the fabulous blog Southern Girl's Kitchen! Inspired by her sweet grandmother, she was taught to cook at a very young age and each recipe she makes is a true labor of love. Not only did her grandmother teach her how to cook, but she instilled love, laughter and every little sweet thing in between. She's a wife, mother and collector of vintage cookbooks who puts a southern "soul food" twist on each one of her delicious recipes. So head on over and check out the lovely Erika and her adorable family, I know you'll just love her as much as I do!
Dara is the super sweet 20-something girl behind Generation Y Foodie who is a lawyer by day and foodie by night! Based out of Boston, her love for blogging came about because she wanted to put to rest the assumption that our generation doesn't even know how to boil water and resorts to take-out all the time. Sure this might be true from time to time, but the majority of us love cooking! Don't you just love her approach?? You can also find her fabulous cookbook here filled with delicious recipes!

And what am I doing this weekend?? Well my sweet friend recently asked me to create her wedding cake for her summer wedding next year! I was beyond honored (and admittedly terrified!) so I asked her if we could practice making test cakes, juuuuust to make sure she actually likes my baking. So tonight my girlfriends and I will be baking trial wedding cakes, drinking our favorite bottle of Moscato and probably having hours of girl talk because that's just what always ends up happening. If you want to see my inspiration behind her cake, you can check them all out here!
Happy Friday!!!
